With reference to my Confidential letter of

the 17th, instant regarding the information that a man named

*Un Kin" (who was banished on the 12th. August for promoting

gambling),I have now to forward the enclosed reports and

evidence against 3 Inuian Sergeants who have been identi-

fied by Un Kin as persons to whom he paid bribes on behalf

of the Cheung Hing Street Gambling house,

as-

I have made enquiry and as far as I can

certain neither 661 nor 547 ever were stationed at old No.8

Station,but it is 7 years since it was occupied as a Police

Station.

Un Kin was not employed at the gambling

house till the 11th.moon of last year, so his payment began

in the 12th.moon to 547.

Tse Fook says he began to pay 547 in the

2nd.moon of last year. In that moon 547 was at Wanchai (East

ern District) but he was transferred to Central on the 2nd.
